List of Professors for Preliminary Examination of Dissertation

 

Doctor of Applied Psychology (DAP) of 2020 (China Division), South-West State University (SWSU), Russia

 

 

Doctoral thesis writing of applied psychology of 2020 China Division has officially started this month. All the graduate students and their tutoring professors have also started the intense process of study and thesis preparation. After the paper is submitted, there is a rigorous defense.

 

Qualified thesis and excellent defense are both important indicators to determine whether a graduate student can successfully obtain a doctoral degree.

 

The evaluation process of thesis and defense will be divided into two parts;

The initial assessment will be conducted by the International Psychology Management College (IPMC) of UK.

After the evaluation is passed, the final evaluation will be conducted by SWSU.

In the above two parts of the evaluation process, the evaluation professor will give specific guidance and feedback for any questions about a graduate student's thesis.

 

The following is the list of professors of SWSU DAP(China) for the preliminary examination of their graduate dissertations:

 

 

Dr. Jennifer Bovard.JPG

Dr. Jennifer Bovard,

 

A registered organizational psychologist and academic.

 

She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Newcastle University and an M.S. in Business Psychology from the University of London.

She used to be the academic director of the University of Sunderland in the UK.

 

She currently teaches at various universities in business administration and psychology at St. Joseph's University.

She has been certified in many psychological tests and assessments, and has been invited to work in management training and consulting for many famous international companies.

Dr. TingHong Wang Ph.D. 


Ph.D. in Psychology , Doctor Applied Psychology, and an MBA from the University of Europe.

 

He has more than 20 years of experience in psychology education and research.

In his early years, he held management positions in world-famous enterprises, and later devoted himself to teaching and practicing the combination of Enneagram psychology and business management.

He is also the author of four best-selling books on Enneagram psychology.

 

At present, he is the executive dean of IPMC, and has been invited by many famous international universities as a visiting professor and corporate training mentor.

Dr. Albert Chan Ph.D. 


Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. He has more than 30 years of experience in clinical counseling and training in Canada, the United States, China(Hong Kong) and other places.

 

He is an expert in the field of clinical psychology and mental illness.

He has personally counselled local psychological institutions, individuals and government units to deal with psychological crises in different countries.

 

He is currently serving as a visiting professor in several internationally renowned universities and a corporate training tutor.

Dr. Lihua Mao


Dr. Lihua Mao is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Peking University , a visiting scholar in the Department of Psychology, University of Michigan and Department of Applied Social Sciences, City University of Hong Kong.

 

In 2003 and 2010, he went to Harvard University for further study as a joint doctoral student and a postdoctoral student respectively.

 

His main research interests include social cognition and cognitive neuroscience.

The research scope also includes a long-term focus on self-control, ego depletion and neural mechanisms, the cognitive and neural mechanisms of humor processing, and the perceptual processing and neural mechanisms of time.

Dr. Lin Tian


Dr. Lin Tian holds a master's degree in psychology from Peking University and a postdoctoral degree in psychology from Tsinghua University.

He has participated in major research projects such as "China's Seven Personality" and "Competency Characteristics of Chinese Party and Government Leading Cadres".

He used to be the executive director of the Laboratory of Mental Energy Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, where he conducted research on the application of cognitive psychology in the fields of EEG and eye movement.

 

He is also a member of the Mind and Reason Database of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China , a distinguished Psychological Consultant of "People" Program of CCTV and a mentor of American GCDF Project (Global Career Development Facilitator) in China.
